ABOUT USHome Bistro was opened in December 2006. The business is owned and operated by Markus Klein. Markus was trained as a chef in his home town of Cologne, Germany. He has worked internationally in the past 25 years with experiences in Switzerland, South of France and South Africa. He owned and operated his own restaurant in Cape Town for 13 years before moving to Sydney. His experiences in Sydney have included Bather's Pavillion, Darling Harbour Convention Centre and lecturing at Carrick Institute. Home Bistro was a result of realising what the family has to do to ensure a healthy dinner arrives on the table every evening. The evening meal is an integral part of our daily lives and yet with long commutes, demands of children's activities and other daily stresses we often don't have the time or inclination to cook a dinner from scratch. The option to pick up a homestyle meal and simply heat and eat, enables you to enjoy the benefits of a family meal time without the stress - a chance to wind down together at the end of the day. |
